🌟It’s December and we are back with our last Stargardt’s Star of 2024! 🌟
This month we want to shine a spotlight on the wonderful Martina, who helped us finding our fantastic venue for this year’s Stargardt’s Connected Conference.
Martina is from Vienna and she was, from a very early age, fascinated by travelling and different cultures.
After moving to the UK many years ago, she started to work in hospitality and today she is running CL Venues, a bespoke venue finding and events agency for corporate clients.
She was diagnosed at the age of 42, which came as a big shock, but together with her very supportive colleagues, family and friends, she navigates all the challenges it brings and remains very positive.
In her spare time, she enjoys walking, swimming and listening to wellness podcasts - and she loves live music!
About our conference she says: “It was a really great day! It’s quite unusual for me to book a venue and then also attend as a delegate, especially as the conference focus itself, means a lot - so this was very special for me. I enjoyed listening to all the talks, met some very inspirational people and came away with some very valuable tips that I can try and incorporate into my personal and business life. A huge thank you to everyone who was involved.”
2025 promises already to be a good year for her - she will be working on an event project in the Swiss Alps as well as returning to her ‘happy place’ - Santorini in Greece!
