Stargardt’s Connected Community Zoom Session (September 2026)
Join us on Saturday 26th August from 12:00pm to 1:30pm for a Zoom session exploring home technology and how you can adapt your home to better suit your needs when living with Stargardt’s disease. We will be joined by Robert McCann, Stargardt’s Connected Trustee and Equipment Centre Coordinator at Sheffield Royal Society for the Blind, who will share practical advice, personal experiences, and useful tips to help make everyday life at home easier and more accessible. There will also be lots of opportunity to share your home tech adaptations techniques and ideas with the group. In the second part, we will have our usual breakout sessions where you’ll have the opportunity to speak to others in smaller groups, share your experiences and connect with others in the community.
