Stargardt's Connected

On Sunday, the amazing Sophie will be taking on the Royal Parks Half Marathon in support of Stargardt’s Connected!

Earlier this year, Sophie’s teenage son was diagnosed with Stargardt’s. Since then, she has shown incredible dedication to making a difference, raising funds to help Stargardt’s Connected continue providing vital support to our community, increasing awareness, and contributing to essential research.

Here is the link to Sophie’s JustGiving page: www.justgiving.com/page/sophie-galton-5?utm_medium=FR&utm_source=CL

You can follow Sophie’s journey on her instagram page @running4sight

We’re so proud and grateful for your support, Sophie. Wishing you the very best of luck, you’ve got this!

Stargardt's Connected

It’s World Sight Day! Today’s theme is all about one thing: Love Your Eyes 👁️

At Stargardt’s Connected, we know how important eye health is, but also that sight loss doesn’t define who you are. Whether you’re living with Stargardt’s or supporting someone who is, today’s a reminder to show your eyes (and yourself!) a little extra love.

Let’s keep raising awareness, sharing stories, and celebrating the different ways we experience the world.

Stargardt's Connected

A massive thank you to the Parmiters Sixth Form and staff for organising the Stargardt’s Fundraising Festival and raising over £1400!

The Sixth Formers put on a fun filled packed day of fundraising activities for the whole school including a bake sale, balloon modelling, blind pong, face painting, glitter tattoos and a tombola.

The festival also helped to raise awareness of Stargardt’s as Sixth formers wore sunglasses and hats and Ethan shared a presentation to the whole school.

It was amazing to see the whole school get fully involved and raise an incredible amount of money.

We are so grateful to the school for their fantastic support and efforts in organising such a brilliant event. Thank you so much!!
