We are really excited to share that one our fantastic trustees, Marina, is doing a fundraiser on behalf of Stargardt’s Connected.

Marina herself lives with Stargardt’s but has never let that keep her away from her passion of open water swimming, exploring open waters from rivers to lakes and even seas. Marina will be taking on a three-day expedition in the south of Bahia, Brazil: swimming 2-3km in a river, 5km in the sea and 2km from the mangrove to the ocean using kayaks for navigation.

Our 2026 calendar is now on sale on our website!

Thank you to everyone who entered our architecture-themed photo competition and big congratulations to our competition winners Paul Appleyard, Ethan Tailor, Vicky Blencowe, Juana Martin, John Gill, Marcelo Camargo Dos Santos. Their winning photos are featured on the 2026 fundraising calendar.

The calendars make great Christmas presents and all proceeds go to the charity to support our mission of raising awareness, giving support and seeking a cure.

On Sunday, the amazing Sophie will be taking on the Royal Parks Half Marathon in support of Stargardt’s Connected!

Earlier this year, Sophie’s teenage son was diagnosed with Stargardt’s. Since then, she has shown incredible dedication to making a difference, raising funds to help Stargardt’s Connected continue providing vital support to our community, increasing awareness, and contributing to essential research.
